The 2023 OAA Advocacy Day & Legislative Reception will be held at the Ohio Statehouse on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.  Registration and sponsorships now available.  

The following topics will be discussed among others:

1. Airport infrastructure funding 
2. Airspace protection around airports
3. Addressing derelict aircraft on airports
4. Direct domestic and international commercial flights
5. Advanced air mobility/Unmanned Aerial Systems 

Please make every effort to attend and schedule legislative meetings with your House and Senate members representing your airport(s).  OAA can help schedule these meetings as needed, but the legislative offices want to meet with constituents from their districts and will be receptive to your meeting request. You will also have the opportunity to attend the OAA PAC luncheon, featuring Senate President Matt Huffman and Lt. Governor Jon Husted, from 12-1:30pm.  We will end the day with a legislative reception in the Museum Gallery of the Ohio Statehouse from 5-7p.m. Therefore, please plan to spend the day with OAA and other aviation professionals!
